About Us

Housemans came into existence in July 2004 when Gary Davison, previously a partner in a leading central London defendant personal injury practice, joined Colin Wilkie and Nigel Davison, partners in Houseman & Hails, in order to create a national niche defendant personal injury practice allied with a flourishing private client practice.

The firm of Houseman & Hails was originally formed in Newcastle in 1956. The expansion to include a national defendant PI practice (coupled with a change of name to Housemans) was built on a successful and established infrastructure.

In 2005 Graham Briggs joined the practice and with the recruitment of additional specialists, Housemans now offers a complete range of representation for all injury claims, ranging from the smallest to the most serious, from offices in London, Newcastle and Milton Keynes.

At the beginning of 2008 the personal injury practice was strengthened further by the arrival of Mike Appleby, recognised as one of the leading Health and Safety practitioners in the country.
